When you install fetchdAI on your Shopify store, we access the following data through the Shopify API:

  • Store information (store name, domain, email)
  • Product listings (titles, descriptions, images, prices, metafields)
  • Product collections and categories

We do not access customer data, order data, payment information, or any personally identifiable information about your customers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect to:

  • Run the AI Readiness Audit on your product catalog
  • Generate and inject structured data (JSON-LD schema) into your product pages
  • Generate your store's LLMs.txt file
  • Track AI citations for your products across supported platforms
  • Rewrite product descriptions using AI when you request it

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption at rest and in transit. We retain your data for as long as the app is installed on your store. If you uninstall fetchdAI, your data is retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Shopify API — to access your store data
  • Anthropic (Claude) — to power AI-driven product description rewrites

We do not sell, trade, or share your store data with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request access to the data we hold about your store
  • Request deletion of your data at any time
  • Uninstall the app, which stops all data collection immediately
